Stephen M. Kuzmak, D.D.S.
Growing up in Catonsville, attending Mount Saint Joseph's High School, I developed a passion for art and music. I cultivated a love for drawing, painting watercolors, and playing acoustic guitar. I learned to understand nuances in color, subtleties in form, and my hands achieved daily training in fine motor control. Over time, I came to the realization that creating art and music with my hands was something I could see myself enjoying for the rest of my life.
That love for art led me to Towson University on both art and academic scholarships. During my first biology class, I developed a fascination for the sciences and decided to major in Biology/Premed. I searched for a career with a blend of the sciences, fine motor skills, and helping people directly. Pursuing a career in dentistry, without a doubt, became my obvious career path.
I graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2007. While there, I was class president and American Student Dental Association president. I obtained a Golden Apple Award from the ADA in 2006 for my leadership. Most importantly, I met my wife Lyndsay in the oral surgery department.
As a dentist, I enjoy cosmetics (veneers and bonding), oral surgery (extractions), fillings, invisalign, implants, crowns, tooth whitening, dentures, and cleanings.
Lately, I have increased my dental abilities to a high level where I have become a highly sought after lecturer on Cosmetic dentistry and Restorative Dentistry. Teaching is also a passion now.
My hobbies include fishing, watercolor painting, playing acoustic guitar, bird watching and anything else that includes the outdoors. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and baby on the way!
I will take tremendous pride in providing excellent dentistry for you and your family.
